J.K. Rowling has mentioned many regrets like the pairing of Hermione with Ron. I suppose, she wanted to show that the underdog can win. It was obvious that they are not suited for each other. It just goes to show that many are married to the wrong person. We can forgive her for that, but why the pathetic Lily Potter for Harry Potter when he could have married Luna Lovegood, my favorite?
Just recently, Rowling said she regretted killing Florean Fortescue. Well, we never missed her amongst so many wonderful characters that she killed off.
However, the biggest regret that Rowling should have is the killing of Albus Dumbledore. Why did she kill off such an important father figure for all witches and warlocks? One who is the model headmaster and possible chairman of the a United Nations of witches and warlocks. However, the worst part of killing him off is that J.K. Rowling had already set up the means for his return. She missed the best comeback of all time! (Perhaps she still has it in mind for this sequel culture.)
The perfect return of Dumbledore was already set up in the plot with the Fawkes the Phoenix. Since Dumbledore was facing an inevitable death from being poisoned by the horcrux, the only way out was to die. The point is that this is exactly what a phoenix does: it has to die to be born again. Dumbledore just needed to take a potion of Fawkes blood before Snape killed him. (This also emphasizes the importance of Snape killing him because if the poison of Voldemort killed him, he would not be able to return.) Then, as is traditional with The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, at the final end of the series, Dumbledore would reappear like a phoenix! In fact the end of that episode of the movie shows the phoenix flying! (Obviously the movie studios can't wait for his return.)
Ironically, in the reality of the filming, Dumbledore had already returned from the dead when the actor Richard Harris playing Dumbledore died and was replaced by the disappointing but adequate Michael Gambon. This reminded us old people of the actor Dick York playing Samantha Stephens' husband, becoming ill and needing to be replaced by Dick Sargent. Sargent gave a good performance, but it was not quite the same.
Even if J.K. Rowling still wants to prove that even the greatest wizard is not immune against the dark arts, I will always believe that Dumbledore did return with Phoenix Magic.

Santa Claus reindeers as Disciples of Jesus
It being October, the month when the department stores put up their Christmas displays along with an aisle or two of Halloween costumes, where stylish witches hats still are most popular, I was Googling the origins of Christmas.
All agree that December 25 is not the correct day for the birth of Jesus, but it does not matter because it is really the climax of the Roman festival of Saturnalia, which was appropriated by the Church. The festival of Saturnalia began at the beginning of the the astrological sign Capricorn and ended on December 25 on the winter solstice. December 25, being the solstice and thus the day of the birth of the Sun God, was a perfect day for the birth of the Son of God.
A rabbi makes the case that it is a Jewish hate day because many misused Saturnalia as a time to degrade the Jews, since, as St. Nicholas taught, were responsible for killing Jesus. It is not surprising that Saturnalia, given its theme of a Mardi Gras atmosphere, would be expropriated by those with no conscience as an excuse to commit murder and rape, but it was not meant to be that way.
Saturnalia was a time that servants would be treated as masters (reminiscent of Jesus washing the feet of the disciples in John 13:1-17) and all would exchange small presents. Someone would be named as the "Lord of the Feast" and would play "Simon says" (This expression originated from Simon Magus who claimed to be the leader of the early Christian Church). This lord could instruct the guest, for instance, to get naked and stand on one leg and all would have to comply.
Perhaps, we all need a week of partying to celebrate the end of the solar and human darkness and, if it was not so cold, to run naked in the streets. Given that it is the Mass of Christ, we should follow the Golden Rule of Jesus, Hillel, Buddha, and Mohammed: "To do to others what you would have them do unto you." "Turning the other cheek" would not be advised as it should be a week of self-expression and innocent-exhuberance, not to encourage a repression of future trauma.
In line with the weakening of Christianity and the replacement of the birth of Jesus with Santa Claus, it dawned on me that the reindeer of Santa Claus were his disciples.
The first six were his trusted disciples:
1-2 Dasher (Peter) and Dancer (Andrew),
3-4 Prancer (Philip, head of the unmarried daughters - Acts 21:9) and Vixen (John Mark, the disciple whom Jesus loved - John 13:23),
5-6 Comet (James Niceta), and Cupid (John Aquila who was married to Priscilla - Acts 18:2)
The last two were actually the superiors of Jesus:
7-8 Donner and Blitzen are from the Dutch "Dunder" and "Blixem" meaning "Thunder" and "Lightning". "Sons of Thunder" are the nicknames of James and John (Mark 3:17) and by the Pesher of Christ, can be shown to be "Thunder" as the nickname of Jonathan Annas, the disciple know as James, son of Alphaeus, with his adversary being Simon Magus, know as Simon, the Zealot/Canaanite as "Lightning" (Luke 10:18).
9 Rudolph, being a 20th-century inclusion, would clearly fit as St. Paul, who was ostracized by the other disciples (reindeer), but whose prominent nose guided Christianity through the fog of the pagan world.
As to the other disciples, they were not so helpful: Judas who betrayed him, Thaddaeus who was Barabbas, Matthew who was a subordinate to Jonathan though later he would take over for him, and Thomas, who was "the doubter" being the disinherited son of Herod the Great.
So let us not spend another Christmas engaging with the news reporters' "War on Christmas" or reading reports of beheadings in the name of religion, but take joy that Santa Claus is coming to town, bringing toys for girls and boys and knowing that they all try to be nice and not naughty. For Santa Claus says, simply, that a joyous life awaits us with the coming of the next Spring and let the festivities of Saturnalia begin, "Ho, Ho, Ho"!

The theme is a family who are building an Urban Ark to survive the coming catastrophe. It is built from Sonotubes which are cardboard molds used to make concrete pillars. It ends with Wendy trying to contact others, "This is the Urban Ark. Anyone there in outer space. Hello" Then the signal fades.

God is Fun
The article by David Graeber in The Baffler Titled What’s the Point If We Can’t Have Fun? got me to thinking. To paraphrase its premise: fun appears to be innate in organic life and inorganic life and may actually explain the creation of more complex organisms and of the universe itself.
So I thought that one could take it a step further and say God is Fun. Far better than the God that judges and punishes. However, fun clearly must have ethical restrictions. (Perhaps ethics are innate also. We all knew the Golden Rule before Buddha and Jesus.)
Then I thought how Gurdjieff's division of man/woman into Body. Emotions, and Mind has significance here: where Body is passive, Mind active and Emotion neutralizing and that these three forces Passive, Active, Neutralizing are the building blocks of everything, including inorganic matter. Therefore the fun part is the reconciliation of the two opposites: passive and active and that this process creates something higher as one 'do' note passes to the higher 'do' in the enneagram.
I have been wrestling with Gurdjieff's apparent mistake in the Food Octave and I believe that I have resolved it. The Food Octave is a perfect representation of how person with just a physical body could grow a Spirit (Astral Body) and a Soul.
So I say, "Down with Darwin's survival of the fittest and down with the atheists, God is Fun because God is the neutralizing force that balances depression and elation and makes us happy."

dylanesque, A new music genre?
The Urban dictionary defines "dylanesque" as having the qualities of Bob Dylan. Well, to that I could add to that two other Dylans: the poet Dylan Thomas and me. There is an album out called Dylanesque, but it occurred to me that it was a perfect name for my music genre.
All these years I have had to check the box "folk rock", but there is no "folk" in my songs and as to "rock" what does that mean anymore? Kurt Cobain and the other Seattle groups were not "punk" and the term "alternative" is just a general term for "who knows what you are" so suddenly, and no one knows for sure how, they started to call themselves "grunge" and the rest is history.
As to being Dylan Stephens, I used to be in the top 10 on a search, but no more. There is a body builder, androgyne, and probably even a female, and a person in a sheepskin coat from the 60's - oh that is me! Anyway, I am a Dylan and being named after Dylan Thomas the poet, not Bob Dylan because I am too old, I have a legal right to have a music genre: "dylanesque". I am hoping that it will stick and defeat the mainstream as "grunge" once did. Wish me luck.
My channel is "oldiesbutdillies". These YouTube creations represent my best songs, which were so unique and good that the mainstream ignored them, and you could say that they are 'oldies' from this Dylan and thus 'dillies' - get-it! These illustrated songs are also a new art form in themselves. Thanks for listening and watching.

Thanks from Snowdon to Edward Snowden
Yeah, I once had a Secret Clearance. It was strange though as my greatest claim to fame, beyond being a classmate of Clinton, was attending the "March on the Pentagon" October 24, 1967. As I stood outside the entrance with tear gas all around, someone gave me a wet cloth for my face. The dilemma: to go in and get arrested or to just return back to the mob where communist trucks drove by to try to claim it was their rally.
Well, years later I had a Secret Clearance, so not on the watch list yet! As I entered into the secure location of the "Reagan's Star Wars Project" as a Boeing Computer Services guru, astronomy/physics major, astrologer, and Columbia Records signed band: the Grey Company (named after Aragorn's friends in the Lord of the Rings), all I saw were people wasting taxpayer money.
It is strange that all this NSA stuff should shock people. We gave away all our privacy to Dick Cheney ages ago and very few cared then! (Interesting that two of the most famous Presidential crooks are "Dicks".) I always take refuge in the fact that too much data overwhelms the system. Just look at the Internet. You can't find information anymore, just commercials. I do not know why people are so complacent about being controlled by the modern Gestapo.
I agree with Daniel Ellsberg, who leaked the Pentagon Papers, that we are facing a crisis greater than the days of Nixon. For the President and the key Senators, who have been briefed on what is going on, to shrug their shoulders is unforgivable. The reason that those 'techies' like Snowden earn fabulous salaries has to do with the fact that few people know anything about this field of intelligence gathering technology. It scares them and they think that by paying a high salary that they are protected.
In my system programming days in the 70's all I had to do was to convince the prospective employer that I could handle anything. Well, I was good, but not that good and computers did sometimes defeat me. We are looking at the reality of all those future movies of machines taking over. It is not that easy to just pull the plug on "2001 Space Odyssey" "HAL" (the word created from IBM shifted one letter to the right.) "HAL" or shall we say "MRZ" (sounds a bit like "MRSA" the incurable physical infection) is everywhere and no one is in control!!!
Has the NSA tracked the Skype calls to my wife in the U.S. from my house overlooking Harlech Castle and Snowdon Mountain where the Welsh "traitors" to King Edward once hid out. They will now!!!! Will the British Government shield me from the NSA cops? Not likely as they are in it, too.

Star Hopping out of generic commercial pop music
Zach Sobiech, farewell, and Sammy Brown, what a beautiful goodbye.
Thank our stars that YouTube allows a small window for real music to bleed through the cracks. What better way than the power of song to say goodbye to the world with "Star Hopping" and "Clouds"!
And yet that freedom is rapidly losing ground in the under the weight of Google ad-words where money is again determining what gets played. Money continues to perpetuate the quick buck marketing of generic commercial pop music records where clones of Britney Spears, boybands, 50 Cent rap and X-Factor are released in an endless loop.
Once upon a time there was folk music that was exactly as its name: music of us folks. From that we had the pop music of Buddy Holly, the Beatles, and the Stones, Bob Dylan, and Leonard Cohen. (You can guess my ancient age from these choices.) These were songs of real people, some were light like Star Hopping, others serious, but most of all they were real. Country Music held on to that concept, but its styles of singing were too confining. Blues, of course, has had a great influence. Perhaps, real songs are still out there.
Zach, may the wave of real songs continue as your legacy and be of comfort to your friends and family and help the Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund.

End of the world December 21, 2012?
If that were only true, I think many would welcome the end of the world on Friday December 21. The real question is how would the Mayan's know this?
On November 8, 1519, the Aztec leader Montezuma met Cortés on the causeway leading into Tenochtitlan and the two leaders exchanged gifts. Montezuma gave Cortés the gift of an Aztec calendar, one disc of crafted gold and another of silver. (Wikipedia)
Clearly, the Aztec Calendar, which was derived from the Mayan Calendar, was partly responsible for Montezuma's defeat because of the superstitions associated with it. At that time the Mayan Empire was merely a shadow of their once great empire. None of this decline was predicted from their calendar.
Christianity had its own prediction of the end of the world in 64 CE (AD) and Nero used it to his advantage after the great fire in Rome to kill Peter and Paul and ruthlessly kill and torture Christians. See my book: 'The Seven Sisters and the Apocalypse'.
Calendar predictions are dangerous because they prey on the masses, who want things to be better and yet they do not accept that they could get worse! The annoying characteristic of change is that it can possibly take lifetimes to manifest. Who wants to wait for the joining of all races into a global truly democratic peace?
Thus when the aliens land and offer us their help on Friday December 21, many will accept them with open arms. Yet, they may really have intentions to destroy us all. Our defeat will be due to the Mayan Calendar or as people are saying an Obama Apocalypse.

King Arthur Flour
"Google has gone mad", I shout.
I type in King Arthur and there are pages and pages of King Arthur Flour. I see that the King Arthur Flour company has paid for placement at the top of the search, but clearly they are also paying a placement expert to load pages and pages of King Arthur Flour and Google is obviously favoring them, also, to make more money.
Now I ask you, King Arthur Flour Company, "How many people type in King Arthur and are overjoyed to find King Arthur Flour?" In all my research on King Arthur, I did not find one connection with King Arthur and flour.
How sad it is for the King Arthur legend to be reduced to flour! The commercializing of the internet has succeeded! People believe that they can get rich quick by collecting pennies in return for stuffing commercials down our throats. All information is fast becoming overlaid and surrounded and obscured by empty commercials.
So let us make some Gingerbread Cookies in the shape of King Arthur and set them out on a Round Table and say goodbye to King Arthur, buried by Google in a pile of white flour, to be eventually blown to the wind.

VLC 2.03 does not get past country codes any more
Just a brief note to say that VideoLan must have had to fold to the big money grubbers that want to make us buy a DVD for every country code. I downloaded VLC 2.0.3 and to my horror A Series of Unfortunate Events became just that. It was my copy from the USA and it would not play on my UK computer. I was sure that it used to play on VideoLan so I backed out VLC 2.0.3 and installed VLC Media Player 1.11.1 from oldversion.com (thank you for being there!). Back in business: my old Videolan beats the money grubbers and plays all countries again.

Double entendre
Don't you hate it when every time you use a word, you have to avoid it for fear that it will offend someone or cause them to snicker because it has some sexual connotation.
When I was just an adolescent, my father explained to me that a bolt had a male screw and a female nut. It was almost more of a shock that the "birds and bees" talk. I have always thought this concept disgusting to devalue the sexual act by naming screw and nuts after it. Now, of course, there is the expression "to screw someone" so there is no hope of stopping the naming. Nuts and bolts could have just been defined as clockwise or counterclockwise then I suppose everyone could be "clockwising someone" or "counterclockwising" if gay. And there goes another lost word. When singing "Deck the Halls", "Here we don our gay apparel" is sure to cause a snicker.
This brings me to the word "double entendre": "a word or expression capable of two interpretations with one usually risqué." It was not always the only meaning as it used to mean: "ambiguity of meaning arising from language that lends itself to more than one interpretation. "Alas, as they say, even that word is "in the toilet." And so it goes that the four-letter curse word used to describe the sexual act is equally as popular as the four-letter word used to describe "going to the toilet." Since these words are interchangeable, we now have the beautiful sexual experience related to a toilet and perhaps this is what makes anal sex so popular for heterosexual partners on pornographic sites.
Aside from the actual sexual act which is satisfying and beautiful, sexual energy itself is an extremely powerful force that helps a person to reach a higher vibrational state. It is for this reason that celibacy became so important in monasteries. However, this policy of celibacy engenders a suppression of the sexual energy, which is even detrimental to a person. The correct method for celibacy should be the encouragement of sexual energy and the avoidance of the act itself. This, of course, was the spiritual ecstasy that used to be so common and the concept of "the bride of Christ".
Since living inside a monastery is not the typical environment, it is still important to practice the sustaining and encouragement of sexual energy outside of the sexual act itself. This is why flirting creates so much energy, but its scope is too narrow. It is also fun to be at a nude beach for the same reason provided one is not hounded by perverts.
The worst possible thing that can be done is to look for sexual connotation in all words and situations because this merely drains the sexual energy as the brain becomes unfocused. Incidentally, one can always spot a bad sex life by the amount of sexual innuendo that they use because by the time they do the sex act they are drained.
So let me end this tirade on double entendre to invite you to listen to the song I wrote and made into video called Double entendre that cherishes the positive meanings in our language.

Obama and Romney and the Apocalypse
In this year of the Apocalypse 2012, there is a significant Presidential election between the first black President (Baruch Obama) and a Mormon candidate for President (Mitt Romney). Although one might dismiss this election as merely the asserting of the democratic principle of the equality of 'race, color, and creed' or the recurring battle of poor versus rich, it has a greater significance because it is occurring in this year when the long count of the Mayan Calendar runs out on December 21, 2012.
Given that either side could characterize the other as the 'anti-Christ' who is prophesied to precede the Second Coming of Christ, it is extremely important to look at the religious beliefs of these two candidates in respect to how their Christian or Mormon views relate to the Resurrection of the Dead, the Rapture, the Tribulation, Millennialism, the Last Judgement, and the New Heaven and New Earth at the End of the World.
The official name for Mormonism is the Church of the Latter Day Saints. The term 'later day saints' distinguishes its members from the traditional Christian saints implying that all members are saints! This is an important factor because it gives all Mormons priority in the Resurrection of the Dead. Although Mormons do allow non-Mormons, who perform good works, to participate in the Resurrection; a fact, that is subtlety hidden, requires them to convert in the afterlife.
Some like to claim that Mormonism is a form of Christianity because it recognizes Jesus and the Prophets, but considering that Islam also recognizes Jesus and the Prophets, this cannot be enough. Actually, the origins Mormonism and Islam have striking similar parallels: the angel Moroni (who sits atop the LDS Churches) showed the Book of Mormon to John Smith Jr., the founder of Mormonism and, in a direct parallel, the angel Gabriel revealed the Qur'an to the prophet Muhammad, the founder of Islam. The Book of Mormon is the superior text to the Bible, just as the Koran is the superior text to the Old Testament.
If Mormonism is accepted as Christianity then John Smith must be accepted as a Prophet, and by the same logic, Mohammed might as well be accepted also. This would be a totally ecumenical event! Thus clearly, the Church of the Latter Day Saints is NOT Christian.
Ridiculously, some have called Baruch Obama a Muslim, especially from the confusion of his name with Osami (who he has now caught and killed), but he is clearly a professed Christian. Given the choice of first position at the Last Judgment, I will vote for Baruch Obama. Whether or not Christians will accept me is another issue, but it is preferable to a successor of John Smith, Jr.

The secret path to God: Twenty-third Psalm and Lord's Prayer
Many years ago I was amazed to find that many of the great spiritual works: The Twenty-third Psalm, The Lord's Prayer, the ten Beatitudes, Buddha's Eightfold Path, Hermes' Kybalion, the Essene Book of Moses, the Ten Commandments, and Genesis creation were all laid out according to the Law of Seven.
In respect to the Twenty-third Psalm and the Lord's Prayer, it was even possible to find that one of the verses was out of order in the Lord’s Prayer.
The correct order of each is as follows, using ‘The Lord is my Shepherd’ order (note that the order is God to man/woman):
1. ‘higher ‘do’
'The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.'
'Our Father which art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name.'
2. ‘ti’
'He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul:'
'Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven'
3. ‘la’
'He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.'
'Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil'
4. ‘sol’
'Thou prepareth a table before me'
'Give us this day our daily bread.'
5. ‘fa’
'In the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil'
'And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.'
You will note that I have taken the verse in the Lord’s Prayer about ‘temptation’ and placed it above ‘daily bread’. However, look at the amazing correspondence because now ‘prepareth a table’ matches with ‘daily bread’! Also when the Twenty-third Psalm verse is cut after ‘before me’ and placed in front of ‘anointest my head with oil’, there is more sense in the phrase which shows that when confronted on the battlefield with the enemy one is the victor and is crowned king. This then matches perfectly with ‘forgive us our debts/trespasses’, representing the ‘Golden Rule’ of ‘turning the other cheek’ or in Buddhism ‘harmlessness’.
And thus we have the method of spiritual growth from item 5 to item one with 5 and 4 being the growth of Spirit and 3 and 2 being the Soul and then being reunited with God at 1.
Magnetic Disturbance(3x3=7) is the title of an earlier book of the author of this blog available now on Amazon and Barnes & Noble, which delves into the parallels of many of the great spiritual works. This book uses the words: "magnetic disturbance" on a nautical map together with the fact that there are seven major San Juan islands (with the three large ones forming a triangle as in Bermuda triangle) to bring about travel through time and space. The Stephens family is riding on a ferry in the San Juan Islands in Washington when a fog comes up and they are thrown back in time and space.
The three children each experience one of the forces of the spiritual Law of Three and the two parents experience the vibrations of the spiritual Law of Seven in a progression from one to seven. Some of the experiences are related to the past and future history of the San Juans, but, most importantly, each adventure helps to elucidate one of forces of the Law of Three or one of the vibrations of the Law of Seven. Eventually they are all reunited back on the ferry.

Clearly, we are now moving to a new paradigm that requires respect for all religions and non-religions. Christianity can no longer have the exclusive hold to "Peter’s keys" as the only door to heaven, because heaven is open to all good people or rather I should say that heaven is all good people.
The solution to the vitalizing of Christianity is to go back to the roots of the early Christian Church. In those days, all were brothers and sisters who dealt with values of conscience between ones Self and God. It did not require Jesus or Paul or the Disciples or the clerics to be the only conduit to God. These early leaders taught by example and it is their personal mistakes and successes that are so much more valuable to us in this electronic age of personal empowerment.
Have you wondered why there must be a Second Coming? Even in 70 AD when Jesus was still alive, having survived the Crucifixion, he was still wishing to tear down the myth about his Resurrection. He begged his granddaughter Paulina to expose this lie. In these times, the “moneychangers” of the Churches are beginning to understand that perhaps their churches have become empty because myths cannot stand up to science and common sense anymore.
Clearly, we are now moving to a new paradigm that requires respect for all religions and non-religions. Christianity can no longer have the exclusive hold to "Peter’s keys" as the only door to heaven, because heaven is open to all good people or rather I should say that heaven is all good people.
The solution to the vitalizing of Christianity is to go back to the roots of the early Christian Church. In those days, all were brothers and sisters who dealt with values of conscience between ones Self and God. It did not require Jesus or Paul or the Disciples or the clerics to be the only conduit to God. These early leaders taught by example and it is their personal mistakes and successes that are so much more valuable to us in this electronic age of personal empowerment.
Have you wondered why there must be a Second Coming? Even in 70 AD when Jesus was still alive, having survived the Crucifixion, he was still wishing to tear down the myth about his Resurrection. He begged his granddaughter Paulina to expose this lie. In her own loving words she describes the truths by using the contents of explicit first century references from historians, apocrypha, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and carefully translated passages from original Greek New Testament.
Her book, having been hidden in a cave by Paulina before her martyrdom by the Church leaders, was found by Bernadette of Lourdes and it has only now come to light. It is the spreading of this book to the world that will finally replace the feared Apocalypse with a true Revelation of true Revelation that will foster humanity’s desire for global conscience and consciousness.

In the company of Archangels
On a wintry day on Block Island off the coast of Rhode Island, the smallest state United States, I walked through the woods to the ocean. I proceeded to work out an elaborate proof of how angels exist, but I have long since lost those writings. I do remember that I saw a white deer that day. So here goes.
There are three forces in the universe: negative, positive, and neutralizing.
For an example: in an argument there is one side (negative) and there is the other side (positive) and finally there is the middle ground. If three forces cannot be seen in everything then the whole unit is not seen. For instance the Son and the Father cannot exist without the Holy Spirit. Atoms require electrons, protons, and neutrons.
Human beings follow the same rule for they are made up of three centers: body, emotion, and thought.
The new age phrase “body, mind, and spirit” is unfortunate for although it defines a growth from body and mind to spirit, it incorrectly implies that spirit is located above the mind when in fact spirit comes from emotion which is centered in the heart as is the spirit. Better still would be to say: body, spirit, and soul because spirit is centered in the heart and soul in the mind.
The creation of spirit is described in “turn the other cheek”:
Body: you punch me - the “fight or flight” reaction of the body (negative force) wants to react with the base feeling of anger. (The Cross)
Mind: I take the punch - the mind (positive force) tells the body not to react. It favors impartiality. (“Forgive them for they do not know what they do.”)
Spirit: with base feelings suppressed, the mind and the body are balanced and emotions of love arise and feed the spirit body whose center of gravity in the heart. (I am the resurrection and the life)
Spirit is centered in the heart, feeling like the glowing heart in a painting of Jesus. The spirit is the neutralizing force between the active thought of the brain and the negative (mindless) activity of the body. Spirit is the part of you that joins in the essence force of the planet Earth and can connect with other spirits in the past and the future. Spirit can live after death and be reborn. It is the astral body which looks down on you at death or when astral traveling. The spirit can walk with angels. Though spirit is of the emotions, it is not to be confused with the lower base feelings of anger, alcohol, drugs, or sex without love. There has to be a transmutation, as the alchemists say, from feelings to emotion to spirit.
The pains and feelings of the body can often obscure the light of spirit and a person with a spirit can sometimes act with base feelings. However, this will quickly pass with remorse because the person still has his/her center of gravity in spirit. (It is the ability to see both sides of a dispute.) A person without a spirit may believe that he/she has a spirit due to the influence of sex, alcohol, and drugs, but it is not lasting and soon forgotten. (Try remembering next time the spirit world presents itself and see that the growth of spirit is worth more.)
Unfortunately, many people confuse spirit with soul and just call a soul some automatic life force that creates more people. Such a soul is merely DNA. A true soul is built of the elements of God. It is rare because it first requires the presence of a spirit and then the sublimation of it. It is at this point of sublimation of spirit that those who have a spirit lose their way for by sublimating the spirit, they forget that spirit is higher than body. Clearly, the sublimating of body to God, serves no purpose. These formulas cannot be followed out of order.

God: the positive force of God (the image of God held in our thought). (The burning bush of Moses.)
Soul: the recognition in one's mind that the wonderful ecstasy of Spirit is bound to this planet and that service to God is to be in the company of archangels.

The End of the World December 21, 2012
I just read a financial article that said that the housing bust would recover in 2012. Doesn’t really matter then does it? The Mayan calendar says it is the end of the world on December 21, 2012 and everyone else has been getting on the bandwagon, or is it a hearse? It seems like a perfect time for the Apocalypse since it is almost at the same time as the celebration of Jesus’ birth. Santa Claus might as well shut down operations after the Christmas of 2011 as all good Christians will be having a forever party in heaven. London will get to host the last Olympics in the summer of 2012. And so it goes.
One cannot help secretly wishing that this would be the real end, since the computer date scare of 2000 was such a whimper. That was supposed to lead to huge bank losses because the date at 2000 could have been 1900 due to the old computer programs leaving off the first two digits to save space. Ironically, the banks managed it now all by themselves! Where are the riots in the streets?
What seems to be lost here is that 2012 might possibility be the beginning of the Aquarian Age. I know that people think that it came already with the musical Hair and the hippies, but I do not think that anyone would describe the Bush era as the Age of Aquarius. So let’s think positively. Maybe the me-first generation can change in four years to become protectors of the world and all its people. Seems an impossible task, but it is a lot more fun than the end of the world.

The Unicorn Tapestries
A museum in Paris, once called the Cluny now the Musée National du Moyen-Age, has a set of six 15th century tapestries called 'The Lady and the Unicorn' that illustrate the giving up of sensual desire: taste, sight, touch, smell, hearing, and the last: À Mon Seul Désir (meaning perhaps that love desires only beauty of soul). They are as spectacular as 'The Unicorn Tapestries' in the Cloisters in New York. The unicorn is said to represent Christ, but perhaps she is just a unicorn, a mythical creature of the spirit world. In the first set the unicorn is there to inspire the lady to find her higher self. In the second set, the unicorn is captured and killed. These are powerful images for the present time as we approach the Aquarian age in 2012. Whether it is to be a peaceful revolution or Armageddon depends on whether people are willing to give up hatred and greed that have been so strong in recent times. I was a part of the hippie revolution. The drugs made some people more aware of themselves and the world around them, but for some it was just getting high. Fortunately, many did understand the correct path of peace, love, and hope, but in the end it failed because greed and hatred turned us into cynics. There is a principle of the universe that the more that goodness pushes us forward, the more that badness pushes back. Look at the losses: Bobby Kennedy, Martin Luther King, John Lennon and so many others. This time peace, love, and hope must triumph over hatred and greed because otherwise we will destroy this planet. I opened this blog to bring a positive voice that might rise above the me-first generation of sex and money and bring people hope that, yes, there is goodness in people and, yes, we can create a new world! Barack Obama did not make this up; it is there for all to hear if they listen.
